Sure...i got an image of an eye and to make the iris purple i selected it and just played with the color settings then kinda blended it in to the rest...after that i got an image of some texture. I used cracks...then i played around with the blend mode to make it look like it was overlayed...try it its very simple. Ask if you need any help

Yea imageshack sometimes gets rid of the images after extended periods of time, i also use photobucket for the images that i want to stay hosted.
